Ani Bhalekar is a Vice President at McKinsey & Company. Based in Singapore, he is focused on digital transformations powered by the Internet of Things (IoT) in Asia.

Passionate about the power of digital to transform business and unlock value, Ani advises on all aspects of technology-based transformation – from strategy and design through to build and run. He draws on extensive expertise with mobile and IoT technologies to serve clients across industries and specializes in Industry 4.0, smart buildings, connected transport, and blockchain.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Bhalekar was part of Accenture Mobility’s global leadership team where he led the Industry X.0 practice for the region. He was a key contributor to Accenture’s thought leadership and often represented Accenture’s point of view to industry analysts and publications in Asia, most recently on Industry 4.0 and advanced analytics. Prior to Accenture, Mr. Bhalekar was in a leadership role at Microsoft where he lead worldwide planning for mobile with Samsung and LG.

Mr. Bhalekar has 18 years’ experience in different parts of the digital ecosystem including at startups, OEMs, a standards body, a mobile operator and a mobile OS developer in North America, Europe and Asia. He has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and an executive masters from the Kellogg School of Management.
