Armelle Le Bihan is the founder and director of Green Building Consulting & Engineering, an award-winning Thailand based company providing building design consultancy to improve people’s well-being while preserving the planet.

She is an Environmental Engineer and a Green Building specialist with an expertise in Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) in Europe and Asia. Passionate about sustainability and committed in promoting a green economy, Armelle is tackling environmental challenges in an advocacy, capability development and advisory capacity. As such, she is raising public and professional awareness about the need for climate action and for the building industry’s decarbonisation; is developing ecosystems and platforms to empower businesses with sustainability driven solutions; and is bringing up green, healthy and smart buildings in Asia.

In another role, Armelle co-chairs the Multi Chamber Sustainability Committee in Thailand where she has founded and continues to lead and organise the yearly Sustainability for Business Forum which brings together professionals empowering their businesses with practical solutions driven by environmental, social and economic performance

As a testimony of her achievements, her company has received multiple awards and she has been designated 2018’s Eco Star of Asia by GGEF and 2019 Young Achiever of the Year by RICS.
