David is currently a Director in control of the Business Space, Valuation and Research & Consultancy departments at Edmund Tie & Company (DTZ). He has more than fifteen years of experience in the real estate business, this coming in Europe and in Asia. David started his real estate career in the United Kingdom before moving to Asia five years ago.

In the United Kingdom David gained a breadth of experience having worked initially for the British Government and then moving into consultancy. While based in the United Kingdom he worked closely with the majority of the major banks including HSBC, Barclays, NatWest and Llouds Bank. David has been based in Bangkok for the last four years.

In Thailand, David has advised companies such as Facebook, Apple and DHL in regards to their office and industrial properties in Bangkok and throughout the country. David has undertanken valuation projects throughout the region for banks, investors, REIT’s, developers and private individuals. Within the region David has consulted and provided research to Deloitte, Qatar Airways and Mitsubishi. This work has included the residential, hotel and commercial sectors.

David is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). David holds a degree in Property, Planning and Development from Nottingham Trent University.
