Head of Partnerships and Media Development of Special Projects, PropertyGuru Group
Edwin Tan is currently the Head of Partnerships and Media Development of Special Projects at PropertyGuru Group, based in Singapore.
At PropertyGuru, he is responsible for the development of new collaborations with the various portals, platforms and agencies in China and Hong Kong. In addition, he is championing the creation of new sales and marketing products to help developers in Southeast Asia to penetrate the China market
Prior to joining PropertyGuru, Edwin started off working with CapitaLand Townships based out in Xi’an, China doing sales and marketing for their project, La Botanica, a mega-township that has been under development since 2008. He oversees the marketing and sold out for their Phase 4 project with over 2,000 units.
After spending almost 3.5 years in Xi’an, he returned to Singapore to join Far East Organization, the biggest private real estate developer in Singapore. After accumulating a wealth of Chinese marketing experience, Edwin was tasked to support the marketing efforts of the regional sales team, which at that time has four offices in China and the Australian Project in Melbourne, St Helena Woods. Locally in Singapore, he was also lending his marketing support to the Sales & Leasing Group for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Graduated from NUS Real Estate holding an Honours degree, Edwin has been in the real estate business with over 10 years of experience.
