Asst. Prof. Dr. Kessara Thanyalakpark

Asst. Prof. Dr. Kessara Thanyalakpark is the Managing Director of Sena Development Public Company Limited, joining the company 17 years ago. She stands at the intersection of Thailand’s property sector and its renewable energy industry, building high-quality homes while doing the most for the planet. As the next-generation leader of Sena Development, she has hastened the evolution of a company with more than 40 years of experience in real estate development and innovation.

Under her leadership, Sena has become a forerunner in solar-powered development in Thailand. Thanks to her commitment to the environment, Sena has been able to provide solar energy to more than 1,000 customers, spanning the residential to commercial segments, and even governmental clients. Through her vision, Sena became the first developer in Thailand to install solar rooftops in all its homes and common areas, resulting in lots of cost savings for residents.

She and the rest of the Sena team live for “the customer’s trust.” Guided by this ethos, she has infused inclusivity into the Sena portfolio, developing great homes for not only the top tiers of society but also the middle-to-low market segment. As a result, Sena has become the market leader in developing quality condominiums for low-income customers.

She received the Doctor of Philosophy (Economics), Claremont Graduate University, California, USA. She also has her Master of Arts in Economics, Claremont Graduate University, California (1997), and Master of Business Administration (Finance and Accounting), University of California (1996). In 1994, she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Banking&Finance) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

She was honoured as one of the “Women of the Year” by the Bangkok Post in 2021.
