As the Global Sales Leader, Petra Bührer is driving the worldwide IBM Power Systems scale-up and scale-out business focusing on AIX and IBM i, which of course includes the Power Systems Software portfolio!
Petra brings a deep understanding of the Power Systems stack from her previous Offering Management experience.

Before joining the global sales team, Petra was part of the worldwide Offering Management team for Power Systems and owned the AIX Portfolio, as well as Security across the platform as the lead offering manager and covered projects related to cloud management and workload-based solutions as well.

In addition, Petra was elected Vice-Chair (2017-2019) and Chair (2019-2021) of the IBM Technical Expert Council (TEC DACH), and currently is one of the Board Mebers of the TEC DACH, which is an affiliate of the IBM Academy of Technology.
