Stuart Mendel has been the Managing Director and Head of Country for Lendlease Malaysia since July 2018. In this role, Stuart is responsible for overall country leadership and management including strategy, growth, operations, safety, sustainability and human capital.

Prior to this, Stuart was the Project Director for Tun Razak Exchange Lifestyle Quarter – a joint venture between Lendlease and TRX City Sdn. Bhd.  In this role, he was in charge of the strategy, implementation and resources for the project including Development, Project Management and Construction and Asset Management.

An industry veteran with more than 27 years of experience in the property industry, 24 of which has been with Lendlease in a multitude of roles spanning across a wide spectrum of businesses including Project Management and Construction, Development and the Military Housing Privatisation business.

In January 2014, Stuart joined Lendlease’s Asia business as the Managing Director for Project Management & Construction Asia, directing the strategy, growth, operations and resources of the project management and construction business across the region. Prior to that, Stuart was the General Manager of the Retail Strategic Business Unit of Lendlease in Australia.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Sydney, Australia.
