Jules Kay is the General Manager of PropertyGuru Group’s industry leading business, ‘Asia Property Awards’. With its independent judging panel of over 80 industry experts, including Southeast Asia, China, Japan, and Australia, it is the most respected real estate awards series in Asia that recognises and promotes excellence in development design and innovation. One of the original team members of Asia Property Awards, Jules rejoined the business in 2018 in this leadership role.

At PropertyGuru, Jules leads a talented team that manages sales and marketing, event management, and the awards entry and independent judging process that has earned the Asia Property Awards its distinction as the flagship property awards over the last 20 years. He also leads the team behind the annual global thought leadership conference, the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit. In addition, he serves as publisher of the digital magazine ‘Property Report by PropertyGuru’ and as General Manager of the Marketplaces Agency business in Thailand.

Over the last 20 years Jules has successfully conceptualised, planned and executed a wide variety of sales and marketing, branding and public relations campaigns for a range of best-in-class companies across the real estate, hotel, hospitality and technology sectors.

He has also built an extensive portfolio of published work including regional property and lifestyle journalism, thought leadership pieces and in-depth interviews and features on wide ranging aspects of the luxury real estate, travel and luxury boating industry.

Jules is a regular speaker and moderator on panel discussions at regional property exhibitions and lifestyle events such as HLB Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets Conference, C9 Sessions by C9 Hotelworks and Delivering Asia, and WAD Luxury Residence Design and Construction Summit.

Jules has a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Psychology from London Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from International House London.
