A report published by Facts and Factors revealed the ideal characteristics one must have to work in the hospitality industry, including empathy, reported Globe News Wire. One must be patient with multiple requests and be willing to provide customers’ needs, all while maintaining proper protocol and hygiene standards.

ESG implications and wellness tourism will be more pronounced in the industry while opportunities grow from staff shortages and the increase in demand for digital hospitality jobs. 

Hospitality site ResDiary also shared this year’s upcoming trends, predicting a boost in the utilisation of technology, a rise in demand for smaller venues, an increase of 30.1 percent in online bookings, and a decrease of 60 percent in cancellations.
