PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit explores ‘Trusted Marketplaces and Thriving Communities’ for 2025 edition

Eleventh edition of PropertyGuru’s thought leadership platform draws international roster of experts and speakers

BANGKOK, Thailand — The 11th edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit (ARES 2025), supported by Sybarite Architects, returns for one day of informative, educational conversations on 11 December 2025 at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

ARES 2025 offers an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and dive into issues pertinent to this year’s theme of “Trusted Marketplaces and Thriving Communities.” The premier gathering, also known as the thought leadership platform of PropertyGuru Group, will convene real estate leaders and stakeholders for diverse keynote presentations, panel discussions, and expert talks at the intersection of property, technology, and design.

The day commences with an economic outlook on the region from Syetarn Hansakul of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network and a design spotlight on “The Power of Place” from Simon Mitchell, co-founder of award-winning architectural practice Sybarite Architects.

Subsequent sessions will delve into the value of urban branded residences with panellists from Marriott International, Nobu Hospitality, Six Senses, and The Ascott Limited, moderated by Bill Barnett of C9 Hotelworks.

In one of the Summit’s most anticipated portions, broadcast personality Duncan James Simpson will address data security in an AI-driven market.

The afternoon will feature a panel on rethinking equity in Asian real estate with Dr. Jing Yu, deputy chief of the Bangkok Programme Office of UN-Habitat, in attendance.

Further discussions will examine the wellness edge in transforming communities, featuring voices from the International Finance Corporation, Knight Frank, Sukosol Hotels, and other leading entities.
